Greetings! I hope this message finds you well. As I sit writing from the comfort of my favourite recliner, trying to keep cool from the hot Aussie sun, I am reflecting on what it means to be a writer. As most of you know, my first novel, Tales Behind the Tombstones was published in October last year. Apart from the births of my three beautiful babies, it is my greatest accomplishment thus far. It is an occult horror fiction that took me three years to write and close to a year to edit; I am somewhat of a perfectionist, especially when it comes to my craft. I had thought the hard part was over. Writing it, then editing it, checking over my editors proof, going over layout design, cover design and reading it, reading it and reading it again. And just when I thought I was done reading it for the sixth time, I read over it again and still found things that I felt needed to be corrected or changed.
